This remote 5 acre piece of paradise is nestled in the back end of the Bobbie Burns Creek drainage. This parcel of land was used as the Mill Site for the Bobbie Burns Claim. In 1889, this area was staked as the Bobbie Burns Claim. A 5-stamp mill was created at 2072m elevation in 1891. During 1892 about 27 tons of ore was taken and ran through the mill, but gold recoveries were low. The claim was then re-staked, and in 1923 the property consisted of 5 smaller claims, The Mill Site (Lot 1091) being one of them.
